| Antique Sampler by MarieThis alphabet sampler is done in red stitches. It is quite and early sampler and is truly a work of art. To think a very young girl would have sewn this piece practicing the art of sewing. It is special that it was save all these years. This sampler has the alphabet, numbers and MARIE MEZO AGE 13. There are symbols in the center that look like a cross over a hearts and again M. M. The thread is red and cream. 10" x 9" Nice and old! Probably from the middle 1800's at least.
