5-Step Vintage Wood Ladder for sale. When you are considering the size, we count the top surface as a step. As an example a 5 step will have 4 steps then the top board. A 5 step is just less than 5' tall as a rule.
It will be approx. 34" to 36" wide at the feet when opened and the width will be approx. 20". Our ladders vary in looks and the samples shown are similar to what you might get. We sell lots of ladders and our stock changes daily but all will have paint drips or signs of wear from years of use. This is part of their charm.
These are old used wood ladders that we are selling for a country decorative accent. Please note that they are NOT FOR CLIMBING. Our ladders are to be used for hanging quilts, pots, and miscellaneous items. If you chose to climb these ladders be advised that we are not responsible and you will be doing it at your own risk.
Note that I may not have this style ladder available in all sizes. These are all vintage step ladders, used around farmhouses for painting, which our pickers find for us.
If you are needing these to lay planks across for shelving be ADVISED that some ladders have Criss Cross Supports and some have horizontal supports. THE HORIZONTAL SUPPORTS NEVER ARE LEVEL WITH THE FRONT STEPS. These are vintage and that is how they are made.
